Submitted by Division of Communications and Marketing
K-State Police Assistant Director Don Stubbings has accepted a position at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth. He will be director of safety and security starting in early May. Stubbings has been with Kansas State University for more than 18 years.
"Leaving Kansas State University was not an easy decision," Stubbings said. "I will miss the K-State Family and the people I have served with at the police department."
He also wanted to thank Assistant Vice President Ronnie Grice for his leadership over the last 18 years.
"Chief Grice gave me my start in law enforcement and helped me grow as a leader," Stubbings said. "He has helped prepare me for this great opportunity to serve the University of Saint Mary family."
"Don has been a strong leader and he will be missed," Grice said. "He has helped K-State become nationally recognized as one of the safest campuses in the country."
