Submitted by Trent McGee

K-State 360

Jan Elsasser, Heather Reed and Trent McGee from the Division of Student Life presented at the Region IV West conference for Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, or NASPA, Nov. 7, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This year's conference theme was "Cultivating a New Crop." The presentation was titled "Planting the seeds for employment: How competency mapping guides student success." The presentation focused on how K-State 360, a new co-curricular mapping program designed to provide students with a well-rounded experience of co-curricular programs, helps students stand out to future employers or graduate and professional schools.

The program is currently serving 2,573 undergraduate students as of the time of the presentation.

Elsasser, Reed and McGee also were chosen to present at the 100th annual NASPA National Conference, March 3-7, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
