K-State Libraries closures during fall break

Submitted by Sarah McGreer Hoyt

To accommodate follow-up construction work, Weigel Library will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, and reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27.

Weigel Library recently moved from its long-time home in Seaton Hall to 81 Regnier Hall, which includes 6,000 square-feet of study spaces, technology and collections.

If faculty need to make any advance arrangements for access to materials during the closure, contact Maxine Ganske prior to Thursday, Nov. 16.

The Anita C. Lehner 24 Hour Study Area on Hale Library's first floor will remain open for the entire fall break; however, please note that the rest of the Hale Library building closes at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22. Hale Library will remain closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24. Hale Library will reopen at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25.

For additional K-State Libraries closures, including the Math/Physics Library, the Vet Med Library, and K-State Polytechnic Library, visit lib.k-state.edu/locations.
