Don't throw away those plastic bags so they can be put into good use. Numerous students will be making plastic mats for the homeless in the Kansas City area.

The K-State recycling department has placed eight bins for the collection of these plastic bags. So let's put plastic for a great cause and support our students. The plastic collections bins are at the following locations:

  • Kramer Dining Center basketball court — 2.
  • Van Zile crosswalk area — 2.
  • Ackert Hall walkway — 1.
  • Cardwell Hall seating area — 2.
  • Bluemont Hall seating area — 1.

Thank you for supporting this recycling project.
