COVID-19 virtual counseling sessions offered to faculty and staff

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Human Capital Services understands that this year has brought many challenges surrounding COVID-19. Some of these challenges may be felt due to an employee's experience with COVID-19 resulting in emotional, physical and mental stressors. While in the workplace, COVID-19 may also have an impact on overall employee morale.

To lend assistance during this time, Human Capital Services has partnered with the State of Kansas Employee Assistance Program to have Aaron Henderson, licensed professional counselor, available virtually on Oct. 8. Faculty and staff may sign up for short 15-minute individual counseling sessions or hourlong group sessions with up to 20 persons in each session.

If you are interested in one of these sessions but find that Oct. 8 will not work for you, there is a place to express your interest in the form. To sign up for a session or express interest in a future session, please access the COVID-19 virtual counseling session registration form.

As a reminder, additional assistance is available through EAP services by calling 888-275-1205, press Option No. 1.
