13th Karl Stromberg Memorial Lecture: Summability of Fourier Series
Loukas Grafakos from the University of Missouri at Columbia will present Summability of Fourier Series: Old Problems, Current Insights, New Results at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in 102 Cardwell Hall.
Abstract: We review a variety of existing results and problems related to the summability of Fourier series. Recent insight was gained in this study by the development of time-frequency analysis, which is also related with multilinear analysis. We exploit the connection between multilinear singular integrals and summability of products of Fourier series to make advances in this direction.
