K-State Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification offered in Topeka
Submitted by Debbie Hagenmaier
Registration is available for the 2023 Kansas State University Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification training. The noncredit Green Belt course is delivered in a hybrid format that includes self-paced online training in addition to six required in-person sessions in October and November. The in-person sessions this fall will be in Topeka.
"Blue Cross and Blue Shield will host the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in Topeka this year to give Topeka area businesses an opportunity to take advantage of K-State's professional trainings," said Dan Minick, management instructor in the College of Business Administration.
Lean Six Sigma is a business management system that allows organizations to drastically improve their bottom line by creating, measuring and monitoring everyday business activities that in turn lead to reduced waste, fewer mistakes and increased customer satisfaction.
