David Ochner to present senior organ recital
David Ochner, senior in electrical engineering minoring in music and organist of K-State's commencement ceremonies for the last two years, will present his senior organ recital for the conclusion of his music minor.
Due to severe weather and a power outage on the original date, the recital has been rescheduled to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan.
The recital will be performed on the unique mechanical action organ made by Dobson Organ Builders. The recital will feature music from Charpentier, Bach, Mendelssohn, Handel and Gigout as well as an original composition for organ and trumpet.
The recital is free and open to the public, and it will be about one hour.
