K-State Libraries offers e-reserves programs
E-reserves allows instructors to place digitized materials, such as scanned book chapters, images, lecture notes and more, on reserve online. Students can easily access these materials online for free at any time, making it a great option for both on-campus and online courses. The program increases the accessibility of materials by providing searchable content that also is compatible with screen readers.
Canvas users can now use the new integration of course reserves on their Canvas homepage. The integration allows students to access required and supplementary course materials in one spot by showing all items on reserve for a particular class code. Any instructor can take advantage of this service, and materials on this list may be physical materials or e-reserves. E-reserves can be accessed directly through the integration.
Professors may enable the reserves integration on their Canvas pages at any time but are encouraged to speak with the Course Reserves Coordinator to ensure that the integration connects to the correct reading list. Find instructions for doing so here.
