Updated K-State Today publishing information

Submitted by Division of Communications and Marketing

K-State Today, the university's e-newsletter, has an updated publishing schedule and guidelines.

The student edition will resume publishing on Aug. 19. Publishing will continue to be three days a week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday — as it has been this summer. Contribution deadlines remain noon the day before publication.

Additionally, the guidelines for submission to K-State Today will change regarding event postings. Event submissions and notifications will shift to the K-State calendar, or Localist, for publication starting in September. The university's events calendar is a robust tool that allows users to post an event's date, time and location, tag events and quickly add an event to a personal calendar.

Trainings and how-to guides will soon be available explaining how to add events to the calendar and to customize K-State event notifications to deliver directly to your email through the calendar system. Events can also be posted on unit social media accounts, unit newsletters, unit listservs, unit websites and digital signage.
