Modern languages department invites participation in language conversation tables
The modern languages department invites you to participate in its regularly scheduled language conversation tables.
The language tables offer students, faculty, staff and interested community members an opportunity to practice their language skills through conversation and games in a relaxed and friendly setting. Individuals at all levels of language ability are welcome, and participants need not be enrolled in a credit-bearing language class.
Join us to learn more about language and culture in good company and with light refreshments.
All language tables take place in the second-floor lounge of Eisenhower Hall on the Manhattan campus. The fall 2024 schedule is:
- La table française, French language table: Noon to 1 p.m. every other Friday on Sept. 6, 20; Oct. 4, 18; and Nov. 1, 15
- Kaffestunde, German language table: 12:30-1:30 p.m. every other Friday on Aug. 30; Sept. 13, 27; Oct. 25; and Nov. 8, 22
- Japanese language table: 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursdays
- Café Olé, Spanish language table: 1-2 p.m. Wednesdays
