Registration now open for fall semester Basic Language Training
Every spring and fall semester, International Student and Scholar Services offers the Basic Language Training program to all K-State students, faculty and staff as well as surrounding communities.
The eight-week noncredit classes will meet for one hour twice per week. Classes are taught by international students, who provide language instruction and insight into the culture and history of their home country. Classes are in person and run from Sept. 9 to Oct. 31 for a total of 16 classes.
Each eight-week course is $40.
Fall 2024 classes offered include basic French, Tamil, Portuguese and two levels of Spanish. A virtual option will also be offered for Portuguese.
Registration will be open until Aug. 30.
