Kansas State University's College of Agriculture has once again been recognized as a top 10 college by Niche.com in its annual ranking of the Best Colleges for Agricultural Sciences. In the 2025 list, K-State ranks No. 8.
The Niche.com ranking is based on an analysis of academic, admissions, financial and student life data collected by the U.S. Department of Education, plus millions of reviews from students and alumni.
"We are once again honored that K-State is included in Niche's top 10 list for 2025 Best Colleges for Agricultural Sciences in America," said Ernie Minton, Eldon Gideon dean of the College of Agriculture and director of K-State Research and Extension. "Niche.com's data and survey results show what we are passionate about — academic excellence, faculty approachability and student experience.
"A key component of K-State's vision to become the ideal next-generation land-grant university is the College of Agriculture's Agriculture Innovation Initiative," added Minton. "This includes not only new, state-of-the-art facilities across campus, but also new teaching and research approaches that will enable us to recruit and retain world-class faculty and researchers.
"Through our teaching we will educate and strengthen the future leaders and workforce of agriculture, preparing them to tackle the opportunities and challenges they face and help feed a hungry world," Minton said.
