Survey: Wellness for student veterans and the military-affiliated community

Submitted by Shawn Funk

Are you a student veteran or dependent interested in enhancing your well-being on campus? We want to hear from you. Kansas State University is dedicated to supporting our veteran and military-affiliated community, and we're launching a short survey to better understand your needs and preferences.

There are eight different dimensions of wellness, including emotional, physical, social and intellectual. Each of these dimensions plays a key role in your overall well-being as a student and human being. Your input will help shape wellness programs that support the academic success of student veterans and their families on campus.

Research done by Veteran Affairs shows that close to 60 percent of student veterans report concerns about balancing school and other responsibilities. Your participation in this survey is crucial to addressing these concerns and their impact on student wellness, and it will help to create meaningful support initiatives.

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete, and your input will play a key role in fostering balance, connection, and growth for our veteran and military-affiliated community.
