Burrack, Payne and Thompson present at national conference

Frederick Burrack, Philip Payne and Dorothy Thompson presented "A psychometric approach to assessing pre-service teachers" at the National Association for Music Education national research conference.
The session featured the assessment processes capturing student achievement using outcomes through Canvas and the analysis from three years using Rasch analysis techniques. Significant impact from instructional adjustments prior to and then as a result of the pandemic were found. Instructional decisions moving forward are now in place and will be analyzed as instructional practice alters again as restrictions are lifted.
