Students for Environmental Action hosts 'Let's talk climate change: What's at stake at what can we do?'

Submitted by Emma Pettay

Climate change is the most important issue affecting each country on our planet. It affects human health, properties, economies and almost everything in our environment. Students for Environmental Action, a registered independent student organization, will host a special panel discussion with other educational programs dealing with sustainability, recycling and reducing waste, energy conservation, environmental injustice and more.

The event will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, via Zoom

The panel will give three refreshing perspectives concerning the problems associated with climate change as well as ideas and solutions on how to help our fragile planet.

Panelists include:

  • Trevor Durbin, assistant professor of sociology, anthropology, and social work.
  • Doug Goodin, professor of geography and geospatial sciences.
  • Lee Skabelund, associate professor of landscape architecture and regional & community planning.
