Maximizing our work to create access and success for our community
Dear K-State Community,
As we continue transforming K-State under the Next-Gen K-State strategic plan, all parts of our university must support the success, well-being and sense of belonging of every member of our diverse community. We are dedicated to creating an environment where we all thrive. This commitment is an ongoing effort to adapt and grow in response to our community's needs, aligning with our vision as the next-generation land-grant university.
To evaluate our efforts to foster a welcoming and inclusive community, we have created a team to assess the structure, mission and goals of our Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. This will help ensure our efforts align with our strategic plan and maximize their positive impact on student, faculty and staff success and the overall K-State experience.
As we move forward, this team will engage with various stakeholders across our campuses to gather input, listen and explore ways to enhance our current initiatives.
We are committed to supporting the success of our people and their participation in our vibrant academic and social community. Our commitment involves striving for access to opportunities and outcomes, creating spaces where all voices are heard and valued, and ensuring that everyone feels like part of the K-State family.
