Share your ideas about the Campus Master Plan by Friday
Submitted by Division of Facilities
Campus Master Plan town halls were held both in person and online last week to gather input from K-State community members and to share ideas on enhancing the K-State experience. The focus included creating resilient campuses, transforming learning environments, expanding research and improving connectivity.
You can learn more about the proposed ideas, including establishing a research hub, future concepts for Ahearn Field House, green space utilization and strategies for growing K-State's three campuses on the Campus Master Plan website. Please view the prerecorded materials and provide your feedback online. You are also encouraged to submit your own ideas. The deadline for input is the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 1.
The Campus Master Plan serves as a guide for redesigning the physical spaces used by our K-State community. It encompasses facilities, space utilization, infrastructure, accessibility, security, transportation and the overall student experience across the Manhattan, Olathe and Salina campuses. A draft of the final plan will be presented in spring 2025, at which point K-State community members will have another opportunity to review the plan and provide feedback.
