Call for bug art and photos contest entries
Submitted by Popenoe Entomology Club
The Popenoe Entomology Club hosts an annual bug art and photo contest during Mudge Week.
Mudge Week is a weeklong celebration of entomology named in honor of Benjamin F. Mudge, a beloved K-State professor of entomology among other topics.
For this year's contest, Popenoe Entomology Club is partnering with the Manhattan Arts Center to display all of the submissions at the MAC during Mudge Week 2025, March 31-April 4.
This competition has categories open to Popenoe Entomology Club members as well as the public, which includes faculty and staff and everyone in the greater community. All art and photos submitted should feature insects and their relatives.
If you are interested in entering, please read the complete contest rules and submission information.
Submissions are accepted first come, first served until each category is full, or until Feb. 28, and can be submitted physically or digitally.
