New ATA bus route added for peak hours

Submitted by Parking Services

Need a ride across campus or around town? Take advantage of the free ATA bus service. K-State students, faculty and staff can ride for free by showing a valid Wildcat ID to the driver.

A new bus route has been added during peak hours. The "K" bus will run clockwise from 8:40 a.m. to 1:36 p.m., starting and ending at the Jardine Apartments, Monday through Friday. The "S" bus will run counterclockwise from 7 a.m. to 6:55 p.m., starting and ending at the Jardine Apartments, Monday through Friday.

There is no service on campus during the weekends, holidays or campus closures. All buses are ADA-accessible. View the ATA bus schedule to learn more about the bus stops across campus. Buses also include bike racks.

If you need transportation to shopping areas around Manhattan, you can take the free East/West Express Route by showing a valid Wildcat ID to the driver. This route runs continuously Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6:50 p.m., starting at Dillons in Westloop and ending at Wal-Mart. A one-way trip takes approximately 25 minutes, with stops at Jardine Apartments and the K-State Student Union.
