Reminder: Dean of Health and Human Sciences candidate open forum presentations

Submitted by Office of the Provost

Finalists for the dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences position will present open forums today, Jan. 22, and tomorrow, Jan. 23. Candidate names, application materials, interview schedules and feedback surveys may be accessed on the provost search website by logging in with your K-State eID and password.

All open forums and receptions will take place in Justin Hall.

  • The first candidate's open forum will be from 3-4 p.m. on Jan. 22 in Room 164. A reception will follow from 4-4:45 p.m. in Hoffman Lounge.
  • The second candidate's open forum will be from 3-4 p.m. on Jan. 23  in Room 164. A reception will follow from 4-4:45 p.m. in Hoffman Lounge.

K-Staters are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum and Q&A session, which will address the question, "How, as dean, will you advance the college's strategic plan as it applies to each of its schools/programs, units and centers and in conjunction with the Next-Gen K-State strategic plan?"

For those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost's search website.

There will also be an online candidate feedback survey on the search website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two business days following each candidate's open forum, and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.

Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Thursday, Jan. 30.
