Submitted by Natalia Rojkovskaia

The Mathematical Fiction database lists more than 1,000 short stories, plays, novels, films and comic books containing math or mathematicians.

Alex Kasman, professor from the College of Charleston and creator of the collection, will speak from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the online Art and Math Seminar about how books and films featuring math or mathematicians can lead readers to a better understanding or appreciation of science.
