MANRRS week to feature 'Growing Our Mindset' forum
K-State MANRRS week will take place Oct. 14-18, hosted by the Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences, or MANRRS, chapter. The week includes partnerships with the Popenoe Entomology Club, K-State First Book, The Andersons company, the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, and many others.

The week will start at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, with coffee hour with Hill's Pet Nutrition at Waters Hall. A study hall will take place 6 p.m.
On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Rana Johnson, vice president for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, will be the featured speaker for the 15th biannual "Growing Our Mindset" forum with other speakers to include College of Agriculture student leadership and closing remarks from representatives from The Andersons. The forum will take place at 4:30 p.m. in Room 581 of Hale Library.
Wednesday, Oct. 16, will feature a Career Readiness Workshop to get students prepared for the MANRRS Regional Cluster on Nov. 1 with many corporate and governmental partners. Our continued partnership with K-State First Book will explore the 2024 book, "Deaf Utopia," with a virtual book review featuring students and lead by April Mason-Taylor, program coordinator.
MANRRS week will conclude on Friday, Oct. 18, with social media to recap the week and share our appreciation for your participation.
