Submitted by the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance
On Thursday, Sept. 26, the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance hosted the first event in its new QuVee Mock Masterclass Series, featuring world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming, at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kansas City.
Fleming is a multi-Grammy and Emmy award-winning artist who has also performed in Oscar-winning films, Tony-winning Broadway musicals, and even sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl. K-State students were able to learn from her lifetime of experience as one of the finest vocalists of the modern age.
This free event was open to all K-State students, faculty and staff, including transportation, as part of the new masterclass series.
