Johnson Cancer Research Center hosts Power Luncheon to support cancer survivors and advocates
Submitted by Sarah E. Velasquez
The Johnson Cancer Research Center invites the community to attend its annual Power Luncheon, an inspiring event that brings together cancer survivors, advocates and supporters to promote the well-being of cancer patients. This year's luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Holiday Inn at the Campus in Manhattan.
The Power Luncheon provides an opportunity to engage with the local cancer support community, hear impactful stories from survivors, and learn how individuals and organizations can make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer.
"We're excited to bring together so many dedicated advocates and survivors who are passionate about improving the quality of life for cancer patients," said Sherry Fleming, director of the Johnson Cancer Research Center. "This event is all about creating connections and raising awareness that goes beyond the lab, reaching the real lives impacted by cancer every day."
Campus and community members are encouraged to attend. Individual registration is $25, and tables of eight can be reserved for $200. Registration is open now and can be completed online.
Sponsorship levels are available for those wishing to further support the Johnson Cancer Research Center's mission:
