Knowledge

Performance

Music education is more than making music.  There are many other aspects of music education that have to happen before learning can occur.  These tasks include budgeting, lesson planning, scheduling, strategizing, and organizing.  As a music educator you are not just the music teacher.  You are an administrator, an instrument tech, a computer tech, an accountant and many more roles.  All of these roles have to be covered by the music educator to create a good and effective learning environment.
