Registration is open for March Water Wednesday
The Kansas Water Institute invites K-State faculty, staff and students to attend a Water Wednesday luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, in Room 181 of Hale Library.
This month's conversation will focus on student research, engagement and workforce development. Attendees are encouraged to bring an undergraduate or graduate student to the lunch.
"The next generation of water scientists and policy makers are here at K-State," said Susan Metzger, director of the Kansas Water Institute. "Many of our students are already studying key issues that affect Kansas water resources, and this is an opportunity for our K-State community to explore how to successfully engage more students in this work."
Interested individuals are invited to RSVP online. All K-State faculty, staff and students are welcome, but space is limited to the first 60 registrants. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
The Kansas Water Institute hosts Water Wednesday events each month, aiming to facilitate meaningful exchanges and showcase impactful research. The full Water Wednesday schedule is available on the Kansas Water Institute website. To request additional information, contact water@k-state.edu.
