TLC Professional Development Series presentation today
As part of the Teaching and Learning Center's Professional Development Series, Chase Jordan, instructor of public speaking, will present "Tools for Responsive Teaching: Strategies for Intercultural Instruction" from noon to 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 18, via Zoom.
This presentation will explore ways you can be a more responsive educator in your classroom. With these "tools for responsive teaching," you will be able to afford students opportunities to see themselves in your course curricula by teaching to and across cultural contexts. You will also learn how to integrate student interests and desires for learning into curricula by facilitating a discourse of discovery in your classroom.
