October Water Wednesday will highlight engagement and extension
The Kansas Water Institute will host this month's Water Wednesday luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the Cottonwood Room of the K-State Student Union. Uniquely held in conjunction with the KSRE annual conference, this event provides a special opportunity for faculty to network and collaborate with extension professionals from across the state.
As part of the university's Extension and Engagement Week, Water Wednesday will focus on creating connections between extension professionals and K-State faculty, with discussions centered around collaborative teaching, grant opportunities and other professional engagements.
"Bringing together faculty and extension professionals allows for a rich exchange of ideas and experiences that can lead to strong partnerships that impact all areas of our state," said Susan Metzger, director of the Kansas Water Institute.
Because space is limited, interested individuals are invited to RSVP online. All K-State faculty, staff and extension professionals are welcome, regardless of their participation in the KSRE annual conference. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
The Kansas Water Institute hosts Water Wednesday events each month, aiming to facilitate meaningful exchanges and showcase impactful research. The full Water Wednesday schedule is available on the Kansas Water Institute website. To request additional information, contact water@k-state.edu.
